The spring 2013 Girls on the Run program is off and RUNNING! Program locations and times can be found here.

We are so excited to report that 180 girls are taking part in this season’s programs!  To give you some perspective on our growth – that’s ONE HUNDRED MORE GIRLS THAN LAST SPRING!

Our season will end with the girls participating in The Diva Dash Saturday, May 11th – a 5K run/walk event in Bidwell Park.  All girls will run/walk with a ‘running buddy’ to help with pacing and motivation.

Launch one!

A site is usually a school, but may also be a community center or other facility suitable for a running program. Each NEW program requires a minimum of 6 participants per site and is limited to a maximum of 12 (These numbers can increase to minimum of 8 girls and a maximum of 15 after the first season).
